All Saints Church, Durham.
In terms of congregations, All Saint’s is a relatively new one. Our building was only built in 1967, but now, into our fifties, we have just over 100 members who are a welcoming bunch. Most of our members live in Newton Hall or the surrounding area but we have been visited from every continent of the world at some time or another. What binds us together is a love for All Saints, a dependence on God and the desire to help show His great love to all those we meet and have contact with.
All Saints is an LEP, (Local Ecumenical Partnership). In short this means that it is both part of the Anglican Church and also the Methodist Church. This influence of multi-denominations, reflects throughout the life of the church offering a wide mix in styles of worship and activities.
As a congregation, All Saints has close links with a number of the local schools and other organisations in particular Blue Coat Church of England School.
