Our Computing curriculum embodies our vision, "with God all things are possible," by equipping children with the digital literacy to navigate and shape an ever-changing world. We foster wisdom through the study of algorithms and online safety, teaching pupils to think logically and act ethically in digital spaces. It takes courage to debug complex code and persist through "impossible" programming errors, building the resilience to see mistakes as vital steps toward a solution. This mastery of technology sparks genuine joy and a sense of wonder, as pupils move from being passive consumers to confident creators who realize that, with the right tools and mindset, their capacity to innovate is limitless.
When teaching computing, our aim is to equip the children with the skills required to use computers effectively to enable them to maximise their potential as digital users. To do so, we aim to deploy teaching strategies that promote resilience, independence, critical thinking, communication skills and problem solving. We aim to make students aware of their digital footprint and how to stay safe online
